ANDREW NEELY
Andrew Neely, born in Greensboro, North Carolina, on August 27, 1977, grew up in Jackson. He completed his undergraduate studies (B.B.A. Business Administration and Spanish, 2000) at Millsaps College. In 2006, he received his J.D. (cum laude) from Mississippi College School of Law and was admitted to the Mississippi and Tennessee Bars.
After graduating from Millsaps, Andrew lived for a few years in San Jose, Costa Rica, where he became fluent in Spanish and worked as an English instructor, teaching English as a foreign language to Costa Ricans of all ages. Throughout law school, Andrew was the sports columnist for The Legal Eye, the school newspaper, and he served as editor of the paper his third year. His final semester, Andrew completed an externship for the Mississippi Office of Capital Defense Counsel.
Andrew lives in Jackson, and in his spare time he plays tennis, enjoys various other outdoor activities, and goes to New Orleans as much as possible to cheer on his beloved Saints.
