Eric Stracener was born in Memphis, Tennessee, April 6, 1965. Eric is a graduate of MIllsaps College (BA with Honors, 1987), received his J.D. from the University of Mississippi and was admitted to the Bar in 1996.
Eric is a former Session Member at Fondren Presbyterian Church, as well as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Presbytery of Mississippi. Eric serves on the Board of the Millsaps College Arts and Lecture Series. Eric also serves on the Mississippi Board of Bar Admissions Committee on Character and Fitness and is a member of the Board of Governor's of the Mississippi Association of Justice. He and his partners in the firm are fervent supporters of Operation Shoestring, a non-profit interfaith ministry that provides programs and services promoting health and self-sufficiency of the needy.Eric also serves on the Board of Directors for the Jackson Zoo.
Eric, aside from being a musician and performing locally, is an occasional music critic for the Jackson Free Press. When he has any spare moments to himself, he enjoys tennis and songwriting. Eric is married to Stacey Stracener, and they have two children, Will and Polly.
